Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to access information about STAMP, our classes, productions, events and services, regardless of ability, technology or how they access the internet.

We aim for st-amp.co.uk to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

These guidelines explain how websites can be made more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities and access needs.

The website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that some parts of the website do not yet fully meet the standard.

We are actively reviewing and improving these areas.

The new STAMP website has been designed with accessibility in mind.

Accessibility features include:

• Clear and consistent navigation
• A logical heading structure
• Alternative text for images
• Accessible names for links and buttons
• Keyboard-accessible navigation
• A skip-to-content link
• Clearly structured page landmarks
• Labels for form controls
• Support for browser zoom and text enlargement
• Appropriately sized touch targets
• Links that can be distinguished without relying only on colour
• Use of semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate
• Responsive layouts for different screen and device sizes

Automated testing using Google Lighthouse currently gives the website an Accessibility score of 100/100.

Automated testing does not identify every possible accessibility issue, so we also use additional testing and review.

Testing using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool has identified some areas that require further improvement.

At our most recent test, WAVE identified:

• 6 accessibility errors
• 13 colour contrast errors
• 16 accessibility alerts requiring review

We are reviewing these issues and will make improvements to the website where appropriate.

Because of these known issues, we are not currently claiming that the website is fully WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliant.

Some STAMP services are provided through external websites or platforms.

For example, you may be directed to third-party services for activities such as:

• Purchasing tickets
• Making payments
• Managing membership or classes
• Viewing external social media content

We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites. Where possible, we aim to choose services that provide an accessible experience and will raise accessibility concerns with our suppliers where appropriate.

We aim to make information available directly through accessible web pages wherever practical.

Some older documents, PDFs, photographs, videos or other materials may not meet the same accessibility standard as the main website.

Where video contains important spoken information, we will aim to provide captions or another accessible alternative where appropriate.

The website has been tested using automated accessibility tools including:

• Google Lighthouse
• WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool

Our Lighthouse test on 30 August 2026 achieved an accessibility score of 100/100.

Additional WAVE testing identified accessibility and contrast issues that require further review and improvement.

Automated testing cannot identify every accessibility issue, so manual accessibility checks are also important.

This statement applies to the STAMP website at st-amp.co.uk.

It was prepared on 30 August 2026 and will be reviewed as accessibility improvements are made to the website.
