Harvey Johnson

Harvey Johnson is a professional actor and creative from the North East of England. After performing on stages from a young age, his involvement in companies such as STAMP, Arts North Studios, and The Customs House have led him to explore other avenues in the performing arts sector, such as writing and directing. He now acts as Director & Acting Coach at STAMP and has recently directed their well-received productions of Disney’s Frozen, and Sleeping Beauty.

Harvey trained in Musical Theatre at Arts North Studios, graduating in 2026 with Distinction Star.

His professional credits include: Cooper Cracker in ‘Christmas with the Crackers’ (TreeStump Theatre); Assistant Director and Rehearsal Room Assistant for ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (The Customs House); Jack in ‘The Innovation Challenge’ (Foresight); Dancer in ‘Dave Stewart Press Launch’ (BBC and Culture Quarter); Caroline the Cow in ‘Arbuthnot and the Beanstalk’ (The Customs House); IBore in ‘Wendy the Witch’ (Walton Gunn Productions); Young Co-ordinator at ‘The Takeover Festival’ (The Customs House).

Credits whilst training include: Franz Klinemann in ‘Rock of Ages’; Agatha Trunchbull in ‘Matilda the Musical’; 1st Cover Reverend Shaw Moore in ‘Footloose’.

Having joined STAMP at the age of nine, Harvey has explored many different avenues of producing theatre. He has wrote the Christmas pantomime, directed a few productions, as well as performed in countless musicals and pantomimes, most recently playing King Rat in ‘Dick Whittington’, which he won a NODA Award for - Best Villain in a Pantomime, 2025. He enjoys passing on his knowledge and experience, and cannot wait to meet you.
