Emily Wright

Emily’s journey with STAMP began in 2006, when she joined as a member of the Green Group. It was this experience that inspired Emily to study Musical Theatre at Newcastle College at degree level.

Emily found herself discovering a deeper understanding and love for the art of Musical Theatre and, particularly, the role that costume and props play in creating the look of a production. From this, Emily took the role of Wardrobe Mistress in 2015, and began her work on our production of The Wedding Singer. Emily continued in that role for a few years, supplying and creating props and costumes for each of our productions. In 2024, Emily was offered the chance to become Vocal Coach for Blue Group, which she has done ever since.

Previously, as a member of STAMP, Emily has been seen in roles such as Cinderella in ‘Cinderella’; Linda in ‘The Wedding Singer’; Vivian in our NODA Award Winning production of ‘Legally Blonde’; and Elsa in ‘Disney’s Frozen’ - a role she was nominated for a NODA Award for.
